Due to expansion our client is looking to recruit an additional Project Assistant (web) to join their growing Project Management team. After training as a Project Assistant you will embark on your future career and be able to grow and progress within the company.
The role is for a Web Project Management Assistant and you will be a key member of the project department working alongside the Web Project Managers and other members of the project teams to help implement online stores and trade portals alongside successful business software, to customers from across a multitude of industries.
Responsibilities
- Meeting and liaising with customers directly on your own accord, as well as on behalf of the Project Manager.
- Coordinate the Project Managers outstanding tasks , meetings and projects while they are away from the office
- Ensure project plans, timelines and control sheets are kept up to date
- Update the customer on project progress and deadlines
- Raise any issues or concerns of a project to the Project Manager
- Review multiple excel spread sheets and coordinate importing these into the software
- Participate in internal training activities and team meetings
- Be available to support the Project Manager on a launch
- Help customers with queries they may have
- Assist the project manager with putting together and documenting processes for the customer
Essential Knowledge and Key Skills
- Experienced with Microsoft Word Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc
- Great written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with customers from all walks of life
- Confident with computing and software
- Highly organised and able to manage time effectively
- Motivated and driven
- A team player with ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team
- Approachable with a willingness to help others
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
- Great attention to detail
The ideal candidate will have 2+ year’s office experience, and ideally some project or E-Commerce experience
Own transport is Essential – salary up to £20,000 dependent on experiences
